Key Account Manager - Madrid (Ref.: 102)

Multinational specialised in Storage Hardware located in Madrid is looking for a person who will be specifically responsible to sell the product through the following channels: Reseller channel, Corporate VAR and System integrators. The candidate will manage all facets of customer relationships and ensure the effective execution of the company’s marketing and sales programs as well as the achievement of assigned revenue and gross margin goals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage a base of new and existing second tier channel partners targeting business end users. Ensure strong growth both in revenue and profitability.
- Forecasting, developing accounts, promotional plans and managing the company’s profitability per account.
- Develop account plans for each account and action them.
- Measure effectiveness of the client’s marketing, draw conclusions and make recommendations to management.
- Make recurrent visit to an agreed group of to local offices of corporate VAR, appointed resellers and system integrators whilst developing new business.
- Pre-sales and technical training to extended partners, VAR, resellers and system integrators to ensure mindshare and influence positioning of Iomega products.
- Build a strong reseller channel by leveraging on existing Iomega channel programs.
- Maintain a strong relationship within the second tier channel customers at both operational level as well as senior levels to ensure highest customer satisfaction and exposure
- Increase the demand and interest of the customer by using the technical and support programs of the company
- Successfully manage and resolve customer technical issues, specifically for network storage solution based products, in Spain
- Pro-actively present The Comnpany's product solution to small to medium as well as to large corporations to ensure technical and commercial follow up of the lead with the reseller to close the revenue opportunity
- Provide weekly reporting vs. plan to the Regional Director.
- Work closely with other Key Account Managers based in Spain or in other countries to leverage synergy effects and market coverage with constructive team spirit.
- Work closely with Iomega's European marketing/product management to support customers
- Actively propose, realize and participate at public and customer specific IT shows

Requisitos mínimos: 

- Minimum 5 years sales experience in the FMCG industry in Spain
- Good technical knowledge of storage devices and networking solutions
- Enhanced IT knowledge (Storage, Networking, Telecommunications) would be an asset
- Experience in dealing with Reseller channel, Corporate VAR, System integrators
- Sound understanding of distribution channels
- Proven successful sales track record
- Solid planning and execution, strategic thinking with judgement skills
- Strong prospecting, closing and account management skills
- Strong team player
- Excellent presentation skills both written and oral
- Must be able to work in a fast moving, pressured environment
- Flexible and embraces change with ease
- Must enjoy the challenges of achieving goals
- Fluent Spanish and good level of English is a requirement
